Otter Basketball will be hosting a basic training, one-day and shooting camp during the Red, White and Blue Festival in Crothersville on June 11 and 12.

All camp will beat Crothersville High School.

The basic training camp is for players in second through fifth grades from 8 a.m. to noon June 11. The cost is $75.

This camp will take players through foot speed development with the agility ladder, ball handling, triple threat, basic shot development while incorporating fun games within the camp.

Each player will receive a camp T-shirt and a list of drills from the camp.

The one-day camp will be from 1 to 6 p.m. on June 11, costing $85.

This camp is for serious player only from fifth through 12th grade. It is a co-ed camp.

This camp is not for the beginning basketball player, as each player will be pushed to come out of their comfort zone.

The players will work on foot-speed development, efficiency of movement off the dribble and out of triple threat, explosive drills, first step drills, ball-handling skills (right and left) and more with world-class trainer Jason Otter.

Via the flyer, “It is a tough camp, but you will learn more in these five hours than any other one-day camp you have ever attended. Please arrive at 12:30 p.m. for check-in. We recommend a bottle of water to have court side for your convenience.”

On June 12,  there is a shooting camp from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cost is $150 for the shooting camp.

The camp will focus on shooting efficiency, catch and shoot, catch and square and creating space out of multiple types of defensive threats.

Only 18 players will be accepted into this camp.
