The Friends of the Jackson County Public Library used book sale will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

During the final hour of the sale, the “everything-a-bag-can-hold-for-$3” is in effect.

Adult hardback and softbound books cost $1 each, children’s and young adult books and paperbacks are 50 cents and DVDs cost $2.

Donations of gently used books, movies and music are welcome to help stock upcoming bi-monthly sales and the ongoing sales at Seymour, Crothersville and Medora. Donations may be dropped off at any checkout desk during library hours.

The Friends group also has partnered with the Seymour Farmers Market with the Buck a Book wagon. A small selection of books will be available during regular market hours. Hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays and 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
