SALEM

Stephen H. Walton, 66, of Salem, passed away at 10:19 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016, at his home.

Born Dec. 23, 1949, in New Albany, he was the son of Howard “Ace” and Betty Gross Walton both of whom preceded him in death.

Stephen was a retired forklift operator and a member of the 4th Kentucky Infantry Civil War reenactment group.

Survivors include his two brothers, Jeffrey “Tick” (Jeannette) Walton of Salem and Troy (Mary) Walton of Salem; and a sister, Judy (Todd “Buzz”) Brown of Salem.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jackie Walton.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Weathers Funeral Home, Salem.
