Arlene Ruth Lawson, 92, of Seymour passed away at 10:50 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Seymour Crossing.
Born Jan. 8, 1924, in Breman, she was the daughter of Miller and Florence Ruff Wilson, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Marple A. Lawson on Feb. 2, 1942, in Ligonier. He preceded her in death in 2007.
Arlene was a member of Seymour Christian Church. She was a homemaker and loved raising her children and taking care of her family.
Survivors include three children, Marple Alfred Lawson Jr., Carolyn Burt and Debra (Billy) Burton; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Kay Heirbrandt and Doris Craycraft.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Max Wilson, and sister, Marilyn Weiss.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at Burkholder Funeral Chapel with pastors Dave Huey and Mark Jacobs officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday.
