Lois Marie “Joni” Roller, 85, of Medora passed away at 5 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016, at her home.

Born Sept. 23, 1930, in Medora, she was the daughter of Roy and Edith Goss Davis. She married her high school sweetheart, Jack Dean Roller, on April 2, 1949, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 2010.

Lois was a member of Medora United Methodist Church and a 1948 graduate of Medora High School. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening, but most of all time spent with her family. She loved IU basketball and the Indiana Pacers.

Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Kay (Richard) Schrader of Medora, Jill Ann (Glenn) Durham of Vallonia and Andrea Jean (Greg) McPike of Medora; 11 grandchildren, Angela (Bryan) Andrick, Amber (Jim) Littlejohn, Shawn (Sara) Todd, Kristy Stidham, Jaclyn (Kyle) Williams, Samuel Durham, Jaylyn (Andrew) Rhinehart, Matthew (Leah) McPike, Alex McPike, Kaitlin McPike and Maria (Jacob) Grove; 18 great-grandchildren, Derek O’Neal, Brittany O’Neal, Gage Andrick, Camden Andrick, Kayla Hawkins, Tanner Hawkins, Jacob Todd, Avery Carney, Alli Carney, Kaylyn Stidham, Brenna Stidham, Brennen Stidham, Amelia Williams, Clifton Williams, Gracie McPike, Emmett McPike, Leisey Pichardo, and Kylie Grove; a sister, Juanita Freeman of Fort Myers, Florida; and her beloved pet, Little Red.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Andrew Dean Roller and Ronnie Ray Roller; three brothers, Donald W. Davis, Wilburn D. Davis, and Tommy R. Davis; and a sister, Marjorie Baker.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Medora United Methodist Church with pastors Dereck Fields and Lennie Lawrence officiating. Burial will be at White River Valley Cemetery, Medora.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 am until time of service Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to Medora United Methodist Church, American Heart Association or Schneck Medical Hospice.
