The Brownstown Exchange Club’s annual Round Barn Bike Ride will be July 9.

Registration will be from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Brownstown Central High School, and riders may leave any time after registering.

The ride has something to offer riders of all abilities. A 32-mile route is available for those interested in a carefree, leisurely ride through the country. There also are more challenging rides of 62 miles and 80-plus miles. The longer rides also offer some challenging hills.

A small part of the ride includes in-town traffic and short distances on state roads. This ride is not recommended for small children on their own bicycles.

Some of the sites on the tour include the county’s two remaining round barns and the Medora Covered Bridge, the longest historic covered bridge in the country at 460 feet.
