FREETOWN

Thomas L. Sprague, 68, of Freetown passed away at 12:15 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2016, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.

Born Oct. 5, 1947, in Seymour, he was the son of Carl Sprague and Helen Taylor Sprague Sutton. He married Ann “Susie” Taylor Sprague, who survives.

Mr. Sprague was retired from Reliance Electric, Reeves Plan and Baldor. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army and served from 1965-1967. He was a member of the American Legion, and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Other survivors include two children, Debbie (Bobby Mann) Ridlen and Carl (Rhoda) Sprague; a stepdaughter, Lyndsay (Darrell) Kendrick; a sister, Patricia Klakamp; five grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren

He was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Cordes, and two wives.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Winkelpleck-Weesner Funeral in Brownstown. Burial will be at Freetown Cemetery with military graveside rites.

Visitation will begin noon.

Memorial may be made to either Schneck Foundation or to St. Jude’s Hospital.
