Lynn William Steinkamp, 75, of Vallonia passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, at his residence.

Born June 11, 1941, in Brownstown, he was the son of Ben and Adella Darlage Steinkamp, both of whom preceded him in death.

Lynn was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brownstown. He owned and operated Steinkamp Masonry for 55 years and was a member of the American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Survivors include two sons, Mason Steinkamp and Jody Steinkamp; a daughter, Sonja Steinkamp Humphrey; one stepson, Mark Hashman; two brothers, Stanley Steinkamp and Bernard (Barb) Steinkamp; two sisters, Janet (Allen) Klosterman and Jean Minneman; eight grandchildren, Dustin (Jessica) Humphrey, Heather (Brad) Holmes, Keri (Shannon) Whipker, Desiree Steinkamp, Hunter Steinkamp, Cortney Steinkamp, J. Ryder Humphrey and Saffire Hashman; and five great-grandchildren, Autumn Grace Holmes, Gage Whipker, Bradey Humphrey, Rowyn Whipker and Gatlin Holmes.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by son, William Steinkamp; a daughter, Mary Lucinda Steinkamp; and a brother, Dennis Steinkamp.

The funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown, with Pastor Kenneth Keily officiating. Interment will be at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service Wednesday.
