If you just found out that you are going to have a baby or are looking for information on becoming pregnant, Schneck Medical Center is offering Best Beginnings.

The new program will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 16 or Oct. 4 in the Schneck Auditorium.

The program will help new and future moms-to-be get ready for the physical, emotional and lifestyle changes that come with having your first baby or growing your family, according to a news release from hospital spokeswoman Stephanie Furlow.

This new program includes help in finding a pediatrician, breastfeeding basics, healthy eating for mom, what to expect in the delivery room, car seat basics and ask the doctor.

If you’re planning your family’s future and don’t know what to expect, you may register for Best Beginnings online at schneckmed.org.

All attendees must be registered. If you are unable to attend on your scheduled date or would like to be placed on a waiting list for a date that is full, email Suzanne Dippold at [email protected].
