VERNON

Leah L. Miller, 71, of Vernon died at 3:28 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2016, at Columbus Regional Health in Columbus.

Survivors include three sons, Jerrold (Connie) Miller of Vernon, John (Pam) Miller of Butlerville and Joe (Linda) Miller of North Vernon; a brother, Clayton Maxwell of North Vernon; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Miller.

The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. today at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service in North Vernon, with the Rev. Troy Green officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service today.

Memorials may be made to the Jennings County Youth Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the funeral home.
