Phi Beta Psi sorority’s white team recently was honored as the winner of a yearlong contest with the chapter’s red team at American Legion Post 89 in Seymour.

Tables were covered with Hawaiian-decorated tablecloths and centered with palm trees and seashells. The ladies received multicolored leis, later used in a takeaway game.

Red team members served an appetizer table, a Hawaiian chicken meal and homemade desserts.

Winners of the balloon stomp were Angela Coomler and Michele Lewis. Rachel Rust won the Hawaiian style show.

White team prize winners were Kalee Alberring, Janet Cooper, Jackie Hill, Melanie Klakamp, Melissa Krawchison, Jennifer Payton, Angie Reynolds, Stephanee Roberts, Jan Robinson, Rust, Joan Trimpe and newest members Desiree Costilla, Coomler, Tracey Phillips, Amanda Reichenbacker, Bonnie Lane and Colletta Jo Pfaffenberger.

Secret sister names were revealed, and gifts were exchanged.

Robinson conducted an installation of officers. They are president, Hill; first vice, Krawchison; second vice, Alberring; treasurer, Cooper; corresponding secretary, Kristy Gabbard; reporter, Doris Baurle; conductress, Beckie Anderson; recording secretary, Dana Byrkett; and parliamentarian, Taryn Rockey.
