Ball State releases dean’s list, graduates

Ball State University recently released the names of students who received their degrees this spring and those who were named to the dean’s list.

Jackson County graduates, their hometowns and degrees were:

Medora: Karina Collins, Bachelor of Arts, cum laude

Seymour: Cameron Personett, Bachelor of General Studies; James Hinton, Bachelor of Science; Rebecca Sutton, Master of Arts

Jennings County graduates by hometown and their degrees were:

North Vernon: Molly Firsich, Bachelor of Science, cum laude; Mitchell Pettit, Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude

Jackson County students named to the dean’s list by hometown include:

Brownstown: Darrell Branaman, Daniel Moore, Kelsey Nolting, Sierra Trowbridge

Medora: Karina Collins

Seymour: Molly Crenshaw, Kelly Deppen, Ashley Emerson, Paige Eppley, Abigail Morrow, Fabian Munoz, Jimmy Needler, Miranda Stuckwisch, Caitlin Tracey, Jacob Walsh, Whitney Wooten

The dean’s list recognizes undergraduates who earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average for 12 or more credits of graded course work during a semester or for six or more credits of graded course work during a summer term.
