The Immanuel Lutheran Guild’s regular meeting was June 7 in the fellowship hall of the Seymour church.

President Jackie Hill opened the meeting, and the group sang Hymn 717, “Eternal Father, Strong to Save.”

Carolyn Alberring reported on the summer party, which will be at 5:30 July 12 at Stahl’s Café and Deli in Brownstown.

Betty Chastain reported the Lutheran Community Home party was to be June 14.

Janet Cooper asked for volunteers to provide desserts for the golf outing Aug. 6.

The tables were decorated with red, white and blue. The theme was patriotic with flags in mason jars, flowers that were red, white and blue and flags made from Popsicle sticks. A dessert was served.

The door prize was a potted plant.

Chairwoman Mary Lou Stockamp, Pat Nicholson and Connie Roeder served as hostesses.

The group closed with the Lord’s Prayer.
