Kelsey Anne Laitinen and Daniel Kirk Richter, both of St. Louis, Missouri, plan to marry at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at Cedar Creek in New Haven, Missouri. A reception will follow at 6 p.m. at Cedar Creek.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dr. David and Deborah Laitinen of Seymour, while the future groom is the son of Kirk and Maureen Richter of Ellisville, Missouri, and the late Kathleen Richter.

She graduated from Miami University and Washington University in St. Louis with a master’s degree in social work. She is employed at Epworth Children and Family Services as a teen outreach program facilitator at Berkeley Middle School.

He graduated from Creighton University. He is employed at Kingdom House as the director of volunteer engagement and service learning and is a member of the Young Friends Council of the Missouri Botanical Garden.
