Steve ‘Von’ Von Hoene

Steve “Von” Von Hoene, 56, of Seymour passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016, at his residence.

Born Feb. 15, 1960, in Seymour, he was the son of Ralph and Barbara Jean Newkirk Von Hoene, both of whom preceded him in death. On June 14, 2007, in Brownstown, he married Christa Maria Blevins, who survives.

Steve was baptized at The Tabernacle. He was co-owner of Von’s Pawn Shop in Columbus. He enjoyed auctions, antiques and Harley-Davidsons. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Other survivors include daughters, Cheyenne Von Hoene, April (Cody) Wolka and Ashley Von Hoene; grandchildren, Makenna, Cayden, Ahlois and Waylon; brother, Randy (Teresa) Von Hoene; and sister, Peg (Dave) Mellenbruch.

The funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Aaron Arrowood officiating.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service Friday.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s charity of choice.
