NORTH VERNON

Derlin Eugene Branson, 62, of North Vernon died at 7:05 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Williams Branson of North Vernon; his mother, Leona Mullins of North Vernon; two sisters, Monica Lewis of Kingston, Tennessee, and Rita (Tim) Lowry of Commiskey; a halfsister, Millie Griffin; two halfbrothers, Johnny and Gary Branson; a stepsister, Terri (Jeff) West; two stepbrothers, Randy (Rhonda) and James Mullins; two daughters, Kellye (Michael) Martin and Cindy Flores of Rosenburg, Texas; a stepdaughter, Amy Glimpse; six grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Services in North Vernon. Cremation will follow.

Memorials may be made to Columbus Regional Health Cancer Center or Grayford Road Community Church.
