Nancy Champ, 70, of Seymour passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

Born Dec. 11, 1945, in Noblesville, she was the daughter of Charlie Wyatt and Ilene “Tiny” Durham Robinson, both of whom preceded her in death. She was raised by the late James F. Robinson, who she was honored to call her dad. She was married to Stephen W. “Steve” Champ, who passed away Oct. 28, 2010.

Nancy was a member of Seymour First Baptist Church and was retired from Cummins Engine Co. after many years of service. Some of her hobbies were riding horses, gardening, going to the races and just enjoying the outdoors. She loved her grandchildren, as they were her world.

Survivors include her children, Troy (Tracey) Champ, Todd Champ and Angela (Jeremy) Fletcher; grandchildren, Trista and Tori Champ, Isaac and Lucy Fletcher; sister, Jenny Robison; father-in-law, George Champ; several nieces and nephews; and a great companion to share the last five years with, Jim Moore.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Wayne Robinson, and a sister, Sherry Fleetwood.

A remembrance tribute for Nancy will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Voss Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service.

A private family entombment service will follow on Wednesday at Riverview Cemetery with a butterfly release.

Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
