To the editor:

With all the recent violence against law enforcement in the country, it is nice to know that there is overwhelmingly support for us.

Since all the violence that occurred in Dallas, Texas, and five officers were murdered, the public has given gifts to police departments in Jackson County to show their support, and to let us know that they are thinking about us. We have also had many people come up to us and thank us personally.

We have even had meals bought for us. On behalf of the men and women of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 108, we thank you for your outpouring support and graciousness. Your support means the world to us and we are extremely grateful.

May God bless you, and God Bless the United States of America.
