The Seymour Parks and Recreation Department plans to conduct its annual End of Summer Escape from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 4 at Shields Park, 600 N. Broadway St.

There will be drawings for free school supplies at 11:45 a.m. There also will be six inflatables and free refreshments available. Free admission to the Shields Park Pool for those attending the afternoon session will be available, too.

Jay Hubbard with 92.7 Nash Icon will provide the music.
