Gloria Jean “Glo” Hosli, 70, of Seymour, passed away at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016, on her 48th wedding anniversary at the Seymour Crossing.

Born June 12, 1946, in Columbus, she was the daughter of James K. (Nancy) Baker Sr., who survives in Chadron, Nebraska, and Grace Elizabeth Imel Baker, who preceded her in death. On July 19, 1968, in Columbus, she married Kenneth G. Hosli, who survives.

Gloria retired from Cummins Engine Co. after 30 years of service. She had many interests such as crocheting, camping, traveling, bowling and spending time at the gambling boat. Those that knew her say you would always know where you stand with her.

Other survivors include her daughters, Kimberley Sue (Terry) Fordice of Brownstown and Katherine Lynn (Brian) Kieser of Seymour; grandchildren, Brandon Lange, Logan Fordice, Heather Lange, Amber (Chris) Everhart, Kyle Kieser and Shelby Kieser; great-grandchildren, Kaia Easterday and Ella Everhart; and sister-in-law, Janet Baker of Columbus.

Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Gaylord Hosli Jr.; a brother, James K. Baker Jr.; and a sister, Dorla Ruse.

The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour with the Rev. Joseph Barlau officiating.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service.
