NORTH VERNON

Billie Sue Ogden, 82, of North Vernon passed away at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Jennings Healthcare Center.

Born June 29, 1934, in Russell Springs, Kentucky, she was the daughter of John and Alma Daffron Holder, both of whom preceded her in death.

Billie had been employed for 31 years as a cook at the former Jennings Community Hospital. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, especially euchre. She dearly loved her family and her three cats.

Survivors include a son, Steve (Fran) Ogden of North Vernon; two daughters, Debbie (Doug) Mays and Donna (David) Ochab, both of North Vernon; two sisters, Blanche Foley of Lexington, Kentucky, and Barbara Wooldridge of Jamestown, Kentucky; brother, Terry Holder of Lenoir City, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Michelle Grissom, John Ochab, Sydney McIntyre and Garrett Ogden; and three great-grandchildren, Ayden Poole and Owen and Reed McIntyre.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Colleen Malone officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of the service.

Memorials may be made to Mercy Rescue or the Wayside Inn.
