Roger L. Stuckwisch, 74, of Brownstown, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Hoosier Christian Village.

Born Jan. 6, 1942, in Jackson County, he was the son of Paul and Ethel Christopher Stuckwisch, both of whom preceded him in death. On May 5, 1962, he married Kathleen Stout at St. John’s Lutheran Church and she survives in Brownstown.

Roger was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brownstown. He retired from Cummins Engine Co. after 40 years.

Survivors include a son, Roger (Connie) Stuckwisch Jr. of Bedford; two daughters, Kimberly Keebler of Madison and Tammy (Brad) Hoevener of Commiskey; a brother, Larry Stuckwisch of Brownstown; a sister, Christa Hobbs of Vallonia; five grandchildren, Tyla Thomas, Samantha Keebler, Haley Keebler, Devan Hoevener and Logan Hoevener; a great-granddaughter, Lexus Keebler; and five stepgrandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brownstown with Pastor Jeff Patterson officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown, and from 10 a.m. until time of the service Tuesday at the church.

Interment will take place at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church cemetery, Brownstown.

Memorials may be given to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brownstown, and Alzheimer’s Association.
