The Adult Book Club at Brownstown Public Library plans to discuss “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green at 11 a.m. Aug. 12.

The club provides an informal atmosphere for library patrons older than 18 to share their literary interpretations of the current book selection.

Everyone is encouraged to read the month’s selection before the meeting. You may attend even if you haven’t finished the book as long as you don’t mind hearing how the story ends. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the discussion, but listeners are welcome.

Light refreshments are served by members of the group on a volunteer basis. Extra copies of the book selection are available one month in advance at the library circulation desk. Registration is required.

The program is led by Karen Raymer, and the library is located at 120 E. Spring St.
