BUTLERVILLE

H. Dean Perkins, 88, of Butlerville died at 9:05 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016.

Survivors include his daughter, Mari DeAnn (Dennis) Sharp of Butlerville; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive M. Perkin; a son, Michael Dean Perkins; and an infant son.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Church of the Nazarene in North Vernon with the Rev. Richard Burcham and Rev. Caleb Reynolds officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. A Masonic service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday by Butlerville Masonic Lodge.

Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery with military graveside rites provided by members of Veteran of Foreigns War Matt Hester Post 2021.

Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of Jennings County or donor’s choice of charity.
