Royalty Roofing in Seymour recently announced Thomas G. Hollingsworth had been hired as the company’s new business development director.

Most recently, Hollingsworth was president of Duro-Last Roofing, a position he held for 17 years. Prior to becoming president, he was Duro-Last’s vice president of quality assurance and information systems.

In his role with Royalty, Hollingsworth will pursue opportunities for growing the company’s business through acquisitions, according to a news release from company President Andy Royalty.

Once a prospect is acquired, he will integrate that entity’s operations into Royalty by acting as its interim chief operating officer.

Royalty Roofing has been in operation since 1986.
