Hard work paying off at fair

0

Hey, everyone.

Tuesday was show day, and boy, let me tell you, it was great.

My sister and I got champion and reserve Tamworth gilts and between third and fifth places with our cross gilts and barrows. I was so excited.

Thankfully, Mother Nature loved the swine members Tuesday because it wasn’t too hot. I want to extend a huge congratulations to Morgan Bobb for grand champion gilt and Taylor Schuerman for grand champion barrow. You guys did amazing. Also, I would like to tell every swine member, “Job well done. All your work has paid off.”

On Wednesday, we had our 4-H animal pictures. I worked in the FFA Building and at the Jackson County Pork Producers booth. Wednesday night was the tractor pulls.

Today, I’m going to be working at the pork producers booth and going to attend the annual 4-H creative dramatics talent show. I hope that everyone is having a wonderful 2016 Jackson County Fair. I can’t believe it’s already halfway over. Make sure to keep hydrated.

I hope everyone has a safe rest of the week. Thank you to everyone who has commented on my diary entries.

Signing off for now, Kaelen Eglen
