An open house has been planned for 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at The Gathering Place Café in the Seymour Community Center at 107 S. Chestnut St. in Seymour.

The event at what had been called the senior meal site includes live music, food, friendship and fun. Information about senior support programs will be available during the open house sponsored by Thrive Alliance.

There will be a free shuttle service to take seniors to Chillicen ice cream parlor at 218 S. Chestnut St.
