The Bartholomew-Jackson Joint Drainage Board plans to meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the fourth floor meeting room at the County Governmental Office Building, 440 Third St., Columbus.

The board will consider a request by Jackson County commissioners to install a new crossing on the south side of Cypress Lake, north of Seymour.

Board meetings are open to the public and press.
