Elsie D. Patterson, 81, of North Vernon died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, at Premier Healthcare.

Survivors include sons, Lewis (Pauline) Pate, William “Billy” Hexamer, Randell “Randy” Gilland, Darryl Gilland and Michael “Mike” Gilland; 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and sisters, Margle Patterson Dorsey and Florence “Ann” Dahling.

She was preceded in death by a son, James “Jimmy” Gilland.

Burial will take place in a family cemetery plot at Greendale Cemetery in Osgood.

Memorials may given to Red Sky Rescue in Medora or Christ Baptist Church in North Vernon.
