Curtis E. Patrick, 82, of Seymour passed, away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 8, 1934, in Seymour, he was the son of Charles Warren and Gertrude Pearl Winkler Patrick, both of whom preceded in death. On Aug. 23, 1953, in Seymour, he married Maxine Williams, who survives.

Curtis was a member of the 1952 Class of Seymour High School. He was a member of Central Christian Church. He worked for Seymour Fire Department for more than 20 years until his retirement April 30, 1980. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles and Sons of American Legion both of Seymour.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine; children, Mark (Susan) Patrick, Dr. Adam (Sheila) Patrick, Kelie (Tim) Jaynes and Shelie (Chris) Brummett; grandchildren, Adrienne (Chad) Brummett, Sarah Montgomery, Maxwell Brummett, Blythe Brummett and Danielle Patrick; great-grandchildren, Morganne Brummett, Luke Brummett, Deven Lucas and Kasidy Montgomery; and several nieces and nephews and their families.

Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew Patrick; brothers, Gale Patrick, James Patrick, Robert Patrick, John Bradley Patrick, Charles Patrick Jr. and Daniel Patrick; and sister, Norma Fettig.

An entombment service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday by Voss Funeral Service at Riverview Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Everhart officiating.

Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church or Schneck Medical Center Hospice Services.
