Braves tie for second in tri-meet

NASHVILLE

The Brownstown Central girls golf team tied Edgewood for second while Brown County came out on top in a tri-meet at Salt Creek Golf Retreat on Tuesday.

Both the Braves and Mustangs recorded 214 strokes, while the Eagles finished with 191.

Emma Bawinkle of Brown County finished as medalist with a stellar score of 37.

Emma Zabor led Brownstown with 49.

Shelby Stuckwisch was next for the Braves with a 53, while Breonna Bottorff and Regan Campbell each carded 56s.

KaCee Collins rounded out the Braves’ lineup with a 58.

Monday, the Braves will travel to Pekin.
