The Jackson County Plan Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jackson County Planning and Zoning Office, 202 E. Walnut St., Brownstown.

The nine-member board is scheduled to conduct an initial hearing for a request from Jeff Fleetwood to vacate an unimproved alley in the 6800 block of North Poplar Street in Freetown.

The alley lies between two parcels owned by Fleetwood, who lives at 6873 N. Poplar St. The alley runs between Third and Fourth streets.

Board meetings are open to the public and press.
