NORTH VERNON

Nova Rain Gardner, the 2 month old daughter of Sherri Gardner and Cody Slagle, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at their North Vernon residence.

Other survivors include her brother, Hunter Gardner of Edinburgh; sister, Elana Gardner of Greenfield; grandparents, Sherri Dunkerson and Rick Bonanno, both of North Vernon, Gregory Gardner of Indianapolis, Jenny and Franklin Chastain of Crothersville and Brian and Melissa Slagle of Edinburgh; great-grandmother, Dorothy Vaughn of North Vernon; uncles, Stephen Gardner of North Vernon and Nicholas and Zachary Dunkerson of Indianapolis; and aunts, Keri Whipker of Seymour, Kerri Gardner of Greenfield and Jessica Justice and Kayleigh Dunkerson, both of Indianapolis, Rebecca Davis and Sarah Smith, both of North Vernon.

Cremation is planned.

Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon handled the arrangements.
