COMMISKEY

Evelyn Anna Shepherd, 95, of Commiskey died at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at the home of her daughter in North Vernon.

Survivors include her daughters, Ruby A. Brown of Hinton, Oklahoma, Madge (Charlie) Shell of North Vernon and Gena (Robert) Cassidy of Commiskey; 17 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Alvin Shepherd; sons, Alvin D. and Donald W. Shepherd; and a daughter, Anna M. Shoptaw.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery in Commiskey.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
