A new Bible study opportunity for the community will be offered soon at Trinity United Methodist Church, 333 S. Chestnut St., in Seymour.

The study is a 12-week overview of the Bible’s Old Testament that will meet weekly. The materials to be used are from the new “Disciple Fast Track — Bible Study.”

This study allows participants to meet together for 75 minutes each week, using a study manual costing $15.

Through the meetings and daily reading homework, participants will be able to better understand the Old Testament and be challenged to become more intentional disciples of Jesus Christ, according to a news release from the Rev. Michael J. Seaney.

The participants will decide where and when the meetings will be conducted, with a starting date around the end of August.

Anyone interested in participating may contact Seaney at 812-523-3072.
