Kenneth Wayne Webb, 61, of Salem died at 10:48 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at St. Vincent Salem Hospital. He had been ill for several years.

Born Dec. 22, 1954, at Fort Benning, Georgia, he was the son of Elize Webb who preceded in death, and Martha Louise Hensley Webb of Medora. He lived most of his life in Kentuckiana.

Kenneth attended Midway Apostolic Church, Medora. He retired from American Standard where he was an enameler on bath tubs. He had been a “roadie” for Phanatics out of Louisville, a member of the NRA and Moose Lodge and had a hobby of making pool sticks and riding Harleys. He was a graduate of Medora High School.

Other survivors include a daughter, Heide Phelps Purvis of Sparksville; two grandchildren, Harley D’Wayne Phelps and Hunter Purvis; two sisters, Lena Gail Warren of Seymour and Rhonda Jones of Medora; two nieces, Brianna Wilson and Shayla Webb; his girlfriend, Koby Gould; and caretaker and special friend, Holly Hanna.

Besides his father he was preceded in death by two brothers, Elize James and Jerry Lee Webb.

A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Midway Apostolic Church Fellowship Hall in Medora.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service Thursday.
