Helen E. Fischer, 70, of Taylorsville died at 11 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, at Hickory Creek in Franklin.

Survivors include her husband, John R. Fischer, of 48 years; sons, John (Wendy) Fischer III of Elizabethtown and Lonnie (Kessha) Fischer of Columbus; five grandchildren; and brothers, Wayne LaRue of Columbus, Doug (Mark) LaRue of Phoenix, Arizona.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street. Burial will be at White Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
