Blue and Co. recently announced the promotion of three of its certified public accounts to senior accountants at its Seymour office.

They include Andrew Brock, who joined Blue and Co. in 2013 as an intern and is a member of the audit team. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and has industry experience in agricultural cooperatives, manufacturing, construction, nonprofit and employee benefit plans.

The other promotions went to Jessica Hidalgo, who joined Blue and Co. in 2015 in the tax and business services team, and Rachel Sterling, who joined the company in 2013 as a staff accountant in the audit department.

Hidalgo performs a range of tax work, including individual, business, trusts, estates and payroll taxes. She attended Indiana University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance and Spanish, and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, where she obtained her master’s degree in accounting.

Sterling is now a member of the tax department and performs a wide range of tax work, including individual business, trust and not-for-profit. She attended IUPUI, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance.
