CENTERVILLE, OHIO

Jerry L. Parr, 79, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016.

Born April 9, 1937, in Seymour, he was the son of Cecil and Dora Hearth Parr, both of whom preceded him in death.

Jerry worked for Mead Paper Corp. in Escanaba, Michigan, and Dayton, Ohio, for his entire career before retiring in 2002.

Survivors include two sons, Jerald Parr of Centerville and Joe Parr of Escanaba; a daughter, Cathy (Rodney) Larson of Big Rapids, Michigan; four grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; and a stepgreat-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Colleen; a brother, Kenneth Parr; and a sister, Nancy Campana.

Private family services will be held Saturday at Voss Chapel in Seymour. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.

Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church of Seymour.
