The Jackson County Public Library is adding two new classes for elementary-age children on Tuesdays from Sept. 6 to Nov. 15.

The first program, Curious Kids, will meet from 4 to 4:30 p.m. and is for children in kindergarten through second grade. It is designed to spark an interest in science through hands-on projects.

The second program, How Stuff Works, will meet from 4:30 to 5 p.m. and is for children in third to fifth grade. It will explore how and why things work.

Classes will not meet Sept. 27.

Registration is required.
