The Spraytown community plans to celebrate the 200th birthday of Jackson County and Indiana with a presentation of the history of the Spraytown community with pictures from its beginning.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. Sept. 11 in the fellowship hall of Spraytown Free Methodist Church, 2372 W. State Road 58, Seymour. There will be special singers.

This celebration is about the community’s history and not the church history, which was presented three years ago.

After the program, refreshments will be served.
