PARIS CROSSING

Irene Simmons, 89, of Paris Crossing died at 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at Premier Healthcare of North Vernon.

Survivors include her son, Mason (Pam) Simmons of North Vernon; daughters, Patricia (Larry) Dodson of Indianapolis and Diane (Peyton) Mullins of Columbus; brothers, Richard (Alta) Cart of Deputy and Ronie (Janice) Cart of Madison; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Simmons.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Coffee Creek Christian Church in Paris Crossing. Burial will be at Coffee Creek Christian Church Cemetery in Paris Crossing.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services and from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday, at the church.

Memorials may be made to Coffee Creek Christian Church cemetery fund or Our Hospice of Jennings County.
