McMahon family

The descendants of Dennis McMahon, Jane Edwards McMahon and Sarah Scott McMahon conducted their 96th annual McMahon reunion Aug. 20 at the Medora Community Center.

Prizes were awarded to Lois Walker, oldest woman; Jack Kendall, oldest man; Tori Murfin, youngest girl; Eli Murfin, youngest boy; and Kim Midkiff Shepherd, traveled the farthest. A few fun prizes also were awarded.

Bingo was played, and a white elephant sale was conducted, with the most coveted item being a homemade angel food cake made by Marilyn Kendall, which brought in $40.

Those in attendance were Kim Midkiff Shepherd of Beech Grove; Dick Midkiff and Jack and Sharon McMahon, all of Franklin; Mary Alice Goble, Jack and Marilyn Kendall, Richard Rumph and Sandy Padron, all of Seymour; Dave and Karen Pogue of Hope; Sue Johnson and Lois Walker, both of Columbus; Chris, Shawn, Eli and Tori Murphin, Dean and Mary Murphin, Carla Stuckwisch, Harold and Rosetta Titus and Pearl Davis, all of Medora; and Janet and Tim Hanner of Freetown.

Hosts were Jerry and Bonnie Thompson of Spraytown.
