CONCORD, N.H. — Griffin Dalianis (duh-LAY’-ness), New Hampshire’s former civilian aide to the Secretary of the Army and husband of Chief Supreme Court Justice Linda Dalianis, has died after a long illness. He was 73.
A court spokeswoman says Dalianis died at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua on Thursday morning.
As civilian aide from 2002-2012, Dalianis provided feedback to Army leaders on public attitudes, issues and concerns and gave support to New Hampshire soldiers and their families.
Dalianis, of Nashua, led the state’s Veterans Advisory Committee for 10 years and worked on a Veterans Administration committee during President George W. Bush’s administration. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
State Supreme Court justices said in a statement that they will remember him as a tireless advocate for homeless and disabled veterans.
