GAHANNA, OHIO

Lanny Bogard, 77, passed away Sept. 6, 2016.

Born Dec. 12, 1938, he was the son of Audra, who preceded him in death.

After 30 years of service, Lanny retired from Cummins Engine Co. in 1988. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed going to their sporting events. Lanny was a huge Ohio State Buckeye’s fan, where he liked to cheer for every sport.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Sally; children, Greg (Jennifer) Bogard, Kristy (David) Folkwein and Brad (Rose) Bogard; grandchildren, Caitlin (Jayce) Stewart, Mark Folkwein, Cameron and Keira Bogard, and Madeleine and Grace Bogard; a great-grandchild, Ryder Stewart; and numerous loving relatives and friends.

Besides his mother, Larry was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Melissa K.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date.
