CROTHERSVILLE

Bonnie J. Wienhorst, 89, of Crothersville passed away at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, at her home.

Born April 10, 1927, in Perry County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of McKinley Couch and Alafaire Campbell Royalty, both of whom preceded her in death. On Dec. 11, 1970, she married Ervin “Pete” Wienhorst, who preceded her in death April 17, 1987.

Bonnie retired from the former U.S. Shoe Corp. in 1987 after working 27 years in the heel plant. She was of a non-denominational home church faith.

Survivors include stepchildren, Denny Wienhorst of Paris Crossing, David Wienhorst of Brownstown, Steve Wienhorst of Vallonia, Sandra Sue Angel of Seymour and Teresa Johnson of Clarksville; a brother, Elihue “E.J.” Couch of Henryville; four sisters, Eliza Jane (Adam) Campbell of Deputy, and Lena Hawn, Flora Royalty and Quinton Royalty, all of Crothersville; and several nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by sisters, Junie Couch, Larue Zollman and Sheba Miller; stepbrothers and sisters, William, James, Joe, Christie, Ralph, Tommy, Layman, Morris and Lee Donald Royalty, and Margaret Hagen, Alamae Muncie and Emerine Mitchell.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville with burial to follow at Cana Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday.

Memorials may be given to Cana Cemetery.
