CROTHERSVILLE

Robert Leroy Lynn, 69, of Crothersville passed away at 12:50 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, at St. Vincent Salem Hospital.

Born May 9, 1947, in Bellville, Ohio, he was the son of Elmer Fordice and Gladys Haught Lynn. He lived most of his life in Jackson County. On Feb. 14, 1997, in Salem, he married Debra Wingler Lynn, who survives in Crothersville.

Robert had been ill for several years. He drove a truck for Mayflower and later was employed with Marshall Monuments in Salem as a sandblaster. He also set monuments. Bob loved listening to country music while drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon, and many years ago, he enjoyed driving a racecar.

Other survivors include a son, Kyle Burman Lynn; two brothers, Harry Lynn and John Lynn of Ohio; and two sisters, Nellie Lynn and Anna Mae McDaniel, both of Ohio.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers.

Johnson Funeral Home in Vallonia handled the arrangements.
