Bridge repairs to result in single-lane traffic

Indiana Department of Transportation bridge crews plan to make concrete column repairs at the State Road 250 bridge over Rider Ditch east of Dudleytown.

Flooding conditions with accumulations of debris have resulted in pier damage along the north side of the Jackson County structure.

Repairs at the Rider Ditch bridge will require closing the westbound lane of State Road 250 for about eight weeks. Temporary signals at either end of the structure are being made operable today.

Motorists will be restricted to single-lane traffic at the bridge site 1.92 miles east of State Road 11.
