The Latino Council is organizing Latino Festival 2016 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at One Chamber Square, 105 S. Chestnut St. in downtown Seymour.

The event will feature food, face painting, music and dancing. There also will be performances by Ballet Folklorico and Mariachi Azteca.

If it is raining at the time of the event, it will be moved to the Seymour Community Center, 107 S. Chestnut St.
