Roger D. Haws, 62, of Jonesville passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at Schneck Medical Center.
Born May 26, 1954, in Columbus, he was the son of Joe Haws and Betty Jean Richardson Haws, both of whom preceded him in death.
Roger was working at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Seymour and had formerly worked at Autozone and ASE Master Technician. He had worked at many auto dealers around the area. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles and American Legion. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars, fishing and spending time with grandkids.
Survivors include his children, Richard Keck of Seymour, Robert (Sheila) Haws of Jonesville and William (Amanda) Haws of Seymour; sisters, Kimela S. Taylor, Misty (Casey) Wischmeier and Angie (Marty) Stuckwisch, all of Seymour; grandchildren, Cody Matthews, Arrin Matthews, Mattheu Matthews, Justin Joy, Kienan Joy, Elijah Haws and John Haws; great-granddaughter, Payten Joy; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves behind his best friend since childhood, Jack Reynolds.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service.
